About us

Who we are and what we stand for.

Justiz & Familienrechtsaufsicht Swiss is the only association in Switzerland that specifically advocates for fundamental reforms in child and adult protection as well as in the judiciary and authorities. It makes grievances visible, represents the interests of those affected and demands an independent supervisory authority that prevents corruption and abuse of office.

Through public relations, events and a specialist library of over 900 works in four languages, the association raises awareness of coercive measures and out-of-home placements. Historically, it shared responsibility for the official federal apology ceremony of 11 April 2013 for the injustice done to contract children - and to this day it continues to fight for acknowledgement, access to records and reparation.
